Reggae and Touring 2017

Tours are important to the artist growth, development and maintaining a name or standing in the industry. Most artist will tour once or twice per year depending on whats happening in their career . I suggest at least once per year especially if you have new product and need to promote it to your fan base. Its a great way to reach new markets and develop you fan base.

Reggae artist make up a small share of the tour market in the US with not having too many acts with cross over scene the tours are limited to mainly core market venues; with a few venues that cater to a mixed crowd. More and more we see artist trying to get on tours with other international acts Reggae or Hip hop . this is great for them because while it may not be a money gig it opens them up to a wider fan base and with the right marketing they could sore to new heights.

2017 is around the corner and some acts already have their tour out ,others are still trying to figure it out.
